I work freelance in public relations and as a teacher of English but much of my time is taken up with voluntary work commitments and as a carer.

I am a committed and passionate campaigner for better help and understanding for people with mental illness. My grown up daughter and sons attended Bottisham Village College where I set up a support group for parents of students with special needs.

Recently I was an observer at a flawed parliamentary election overseas. It reinforced my belief in the importance of participating in the democratic process. I have always been active in my local community and am pleased to stand with Hazel Williams and Brenda Wilson for election in Burwell where there is so much going on. I am enjoying campaigning on important local issues including re-establishing the valuable recycling income for Burwell Village College.
